We are.....

ENGAGED! 

Yes we are :) This has been a long time coming and we are SO excited. I decided that I wanted to start a blog so I can look back in a few years and remember everything that I did during this special time! 

I will tell the story of our engagement....

OK so it starts off.... we went ring shopping about two weeks ago. We designed the ring at schubach jewelers in layton. Po had the jeweler tell me that the ring was going to take four to six weeks to be made because they had to send the design to New York to be worked on. Of course, me being so gullible I believed it. And I was SO bummed! Six weeks was a long time! That whole week Po had been bugging me about going on a date with his cousins! I didn't think I could go because I usually have a patient that I see on Friday nights around 8. On Tuesday last week, that patient called and canceled for Friday night! I was so excited because we LOVE going on dates with his cousins (brayden and alex). So Friday comes along and we are getting ready to drive to Salt Lake. We were going to meet up with Brayden and Alex at California Pizza Kitchen (my fave!) Po told me earlier that Brayden couldn't get off work early enough to eat by seven so he asked if I wanted to go walk around temple square for a little bit. I was kind of confused by this because it wasn't Christmas time... and it is not like him to just want to go walk around the temple! But I thought it was a cute idea of him to come up with so i agreed! As we were walking Po started acting really weird!! It was FREEZING outside so i was wanting to get out of there fast! (As much as I love the temple, my hands were purple and I was ready to go!) We walked to the front of the temple and stopped where the reflection water feature is. We were just hugging and talking to each other for a while. We told each other we were so excited to get married there and saying how pretty it looked at night all lit up. He turned and looked at me and said... "Do you love me?" I said OF COURSE! And he said I love you too. (p.s. he said this so awkwardly... and it made me laugh!) He gave me "the look" and that's when I knew it was going to happen! He said I need to ask you something... I screamed! Hahaha I just remember laughing SO hard! He got down on his knee and all i could say was "IT HAS NOT BEEN SIX WEEKS YET!!!!" We were laughing so hard and he opened the ring, it was upside down! so funny! he stood up and I was like... wait... you didn't even ask me!!! Ha he got down on his knee again and asked me to marry him! Of course i said yes and gave him a huge hug and kiss! I saw a flash and turned around.. his whole family (including brayden and alex) were standing there taking pictures!!  I absolutely loved it and was surprised! It was a very special night and had nothing but smiles! I later found out my patient was covered for me by my bestie! 

I really am so blessed to have such amazing people in my life :) I could not be happier right now! (well... maybe if school was out.... :) We are getting married on June 15, 2012 and we are soooo excited!
